Terms of service

These terms cover your use of PixelForge. They describe what the service does, what it costs, who owns the pictures, and how either side ends the agreement.

Last updated 2026-08-19

1. The service

PixelForge renders images from the text you write, on graphics cards we own and operate. You submit a run; the service places each image on a free render lane and returns it when it is finished.

Capacity is finite and shared. When every lane is busy your run waits in a queue. We publish the lane count and the queue depth in the studio and at GET /fleet, so the wait is visible before you spend anything.

2. Your account

  • You must be 18 or older to hold an account.
  • You are responsible for everything done with your credentials and your API keys.
  • One person, one account. Do not share an account to multiply a free allowance.
  • Tell us at support@pixelforge.app if you believe someone else is using your account.

3. Credits and payment

  • One credit renders one image. A print-size file is four credits, because it is four renders.
  • Credits for a whole run are reserved when you submit it, so two runs started at the same time cannot together exceed your balance.
  • An image that never renders is refunded when the run finishes. A cancelled run refunds everything it did not render.
  • Paid plans renew monthly. Unused credits do not carry into the next month.
  • Cancel at any time from the account page. The plan runs to the end of the month you paid for.
  • Card payment is not open on this deployment yet. Until it is, only the free allowance is available and no charge can be made.

4. The pictures you make

You own the images you generate, as far as we can grant that. We claim no ownership of your prompts or your results, and we do not use them to train models.

We hold a limited licence to store, process and deliver your images for as long as we host them, because that is what serving them back to you requires. That licence ends when the files are deleted.

Whether a generated image can be copyrighted, and by whom, is unsettled in many countries. We state no position on it. Check your own jurisdiction before you rely on ownership.

5. What you may not do

  • Do not generate sexual content involving minors, in any form. This is absolute.
  • Do not generate content that identifies a real person in a sexual or defamatory setting without their consent.
  • Do not generate material that promotes violence against a person or a group.
  • Do not present a generated image as a genuine photograph of a real event or record.
  • Do not resell raw render capacity as your own generation service.
  • Do not attempt to circumvent rate limits, quotas or the account system.

Prompts are screened before rendering. A refused prompt costs no credit. Repeated attempts to defeat the screen end the account.

6. How long we keep results

Rendered images are kept for 7 days, then deleted. The run stays in your history with its prompt, its seeds and its settings; the picture files do not. Download what you want to keep.

7. Availability

We do not promise an uptime figure. This is a fleet of consumer graphics cards we run ourselves; a rig can fail, and a run on it fails with it. A failed image is always refunded. We publish the healthy lane count so you can see the fleet's state before you submit.

8. Ending the agreement

You may delete your account at any time from the account page. Deletion removes your runs and your files. We may suspend or end an account that breaks section 5, or that we are legally required to stop serving. If we end a paid account for a reason other than section 5, we refund the unused part of the month.

9. Liability

The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profit, lost data, or the consequences of an image you chose to publish.

10. Changes

We may change these terms. A material change is announced in the studio at least 14 days before it takes effect, and the date at the top of this page changes with it. Continuing to use the service after that date accepts the new terms.

11. Contact

Write to support@pixelforge.app. We answer questions about billing, deletion and access.

This document is written in plain language, not by a lawyer, and it has not been reviewed by one. It states what the service actually does. If you need a contract your own counsel has checked, write to support@pixelforge.app before you sign up.
